It's been over a year since I bought a set of plans from you. I can't seem to get all of the chairs out of my system and they are mounting up. I have built 15 chairs and given away as many as my wife will let me and sold some to my masonry clients, we work on some huge beautiful homes. I am in the process of constructing a website so I can place some and keep up with my addiction.   Gene C.

The Video was a three man effort between Hal Taylor, Gil Grosvenor and Harley Bragg.

Hal Taylor - That's me, I am the rocking chair maker.

Gil Grosvenor - Gil is the Chairman of the Board of National Geographic and was the camera man. He is Alexander Graham Bell's great grandson and his grandfather was Gilbert Hovey Grosvenor the father of  photo-journalism. Let me tell you what - Gil knows how to operate a camera and tell a story. Without Gil this project would have been impossible.

Harley Bragg - Harley is a retired dentist from California who moved to VA to be closer to his children. Harley kept us on schedule and made sure everything was in the right place. Harley has since become an exquisite rocking chair maker himself!

The three of us took about three weeks to shoot the video and then about a year later I edited it.

When I was a young man, Alexander Graham Bell was one of my heroes. Sadly, for me, not many people today, even know who he was or what he did. Doing this video with Gil brings Alexander back into the consciousness of at least a few people in this "modern" time and I am glad to be a part of that.

The video is a full 10 hours long and is menu driven so you do not have to slog through a lot of video in order to find what you are looking for.
